Shopify B2B - logo upload & on-product embellishment as a seamless workflow

Customised products are a revenue driver in B2B - but the process behind them is often outdated. This project removes manual handoffs and integrates embellishment requests directly into checkout, fully native in Shopify.

Many SMEs selling customised products still rely on an offline file exchange: customers place an order and then email artwork. Merchants must manually match files to orders, validate the assets and calculate setup fees or quantity-based pricing. The result is slow, error-prone operations and a bad customer experience.

I built a flow that keeps the whole process inside the storefront: from upload to a validated, priced line item that is securely attached to the order. No external inboxes, no manual matching.

Built as a native integration with a performance-first Go backend. The design avoids storefront regressions and keeps merchant configuration inside the Shopify Admin.

App Embed Blocks provide a zero-code installation and a UI that matches the store theme. The upload control sits natively on the product page and survives theme updates.

All upload field configuration and pricing rules are managed in the Shopify Admin - no separate dashboard required. Merchants stay in the tools they already use.
