Saal: Sales Agent authorizes selected people to sign in to the online store on behalf of their customers and order in their name: with the terms on file, in the regular store, without access to the Shopify backend and without staff accounts.

Anyone who wants to enter an order taken over the phone today needs access to the Shopify backend, an understanding of draft orders, and the discipline to keep prices straight. That is an interface built for administration, not for sales. And it plays out accordingly in practice: the field rep hands the order to inside sales, it is re-entered there, and any question sends it back.
The app removes that detour. The sales rep works in the ordinary online store — the same interface the customer uses. No training on a backend, no debates about permissions, no re-entry.

Anyone working with independent sales agents knows the structural problem: a staff account in the Shopify admin is neither intended nor appropriate for external sales partners. They are not employees, they often represent several suppliers, and they should not get a look at master data, margins, or other people's customers.

In the system, an independent agent is an authorized contact of the companies they look after — with access strictly to the customers assigned to them.
